•  Bible

The Bible contains Scriptures written by men divinely inspired by God and is God's revelation about Himself to humanity. All Scripture is inerrant in the original manuscripts and is the final authority for doctrines and practices of the Christian faith. The Bible is a true and trustworthy testimony to Christ, the focus of divine revelation.

• God

God is an eternal person who reveals Himself to us as a Holy Trinity. God is three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each person has distinct personal attributes yet abides in complete unity. God is a Trinity in unity.

• Deity and Lordship of Christ

Christ’s deity is revealed by His names; He is God, Son of God, Lord, King of kings, and Lord of lords. Before time began, Christ was already in existence with God. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Christ is fully man, fully God, and is an equal person of the Trinity. He is a God-Man. All authority has been given to Christ over Heaven and Earth as Lord, and He is seated at the right hand of God. His authority is far above all spiritual forces. He is Lord over all.

• Mankind

Mankind was created in the image of God to have fellowship with Him. By free choice mankind disobeyed God, and as a result became separated from Him unto death. Mankind, now corrupted with a sin nature has no hope for reconciliation apart from Jesus Christ.

• Plan of Salvation

Salvation is the gift of God’s grace. It cannot be gained or secured by meritorious works. It is freely given to all who accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer. All who trust the Savior are forgiven of their sins and are born into the family of God by the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by self-effort of the believer. It is this grace and keeping power of God that provides the eternal security of the Christian. Salvation includes regeneration, justification, sanctification, and glorification.

• Family

God has ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society. Marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in a covenant commitment for a lifetime. It is God’s unique gift to reveal the union between Christ and His Church and to provide for the man and the woman in marriage the framework for intimate companionship, the channel of sexual expression according to biblical standards, and the means for procreation of humanity. Children, from the moment of conception, are a blessing and heritage from the Lord. Parents are to teach their children spiritual and moral values and to lead them, through consistent lifestyle example and loving discipline, to make choices based on biblical truth. Children are to honor and obey their parents.

• Christian’s Responsibility to Others

Christians are to live a Spirit-filled life and share the Gospel with people without reserve of color, race, or current lifestyle. Christians are to love and serve one another as Christ modeled servanthood and edify the church using their spiritual gifts. Christians are to demonstrate their love for God and others through acts of service.
